Federal, State, and Local Laws Costing Communities Big Time

It is amazing how many laws, rules, and regulations that stifle business and create an adversarial relationship with industries, and inevitably cause more lawsuits and harassment of both large and small companies. Often, when things get really tough on the business community and the sales tax revenues, taxes and jobs go south cities, counties, states, and the federal government alike wishes to meet with business leaders and ask how they can work together to streamline things to help the business community make more money to increase jobs, and tax revenues.

Interestingly enough, it is the government that causes the downturns in the business cycle and it is their very policies would hurt the businesses at all levels. Bureaucrats should not have to ask businesses what they can do to fix things, rather they should look over all the legislation and regulations they have produced over the years and then eliminate the ones which don't make any sense. It's amazing that those that work in government, so often fail to see or can't understand that businesses need to make a profit to survive, or even how those profits are made.

What federal, state and local government agencies do not realize is that their laws and rules are costing them huge amounts of revenue, and therefore, hurting the communities they supposedly are supposed to serve due to their own poor management and overregulation. Please consider all this because it is the only way were going to get out of recession; we must work together, and not create an adversarial relationship between government and businesses.
